Complete replacement with new masonry of six chimney stacks and restoration of a further four existing chimneys.
The highest level of craftsmanship was required as the building is Grade II listed, with minimum tolerances and accurate cutting needed to achieve the production of the stonework.
Ancaster Hardwhite Limestone was sourced as it was the closest match to the original fabric of the building.
Production was completed in one phase which in turn allowed the fitting to be completed promptly and kept time on site to a minimum.
Spectrum Stone’s involvement on this private house project was to decorate the front of the house with traditional iconic capitals to columns with a plain tympanum pediment. Also Garland window surrounds were provided by our Masons and finished with a carved acanthus leaf detail.
Spectrum Stone have been appointed to design and produce this centre piece fountain for the driveway to this large new build project.
